Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
General information for the business: WaterGroup - smart metering products
Kind of development: Customization of existing program
Description of requirements/functionality: The existing application runs on a Linux server (once per day) and convert data from columns (Excel file format) to rows (csv file format). Once the conversion is completed the csv file will be sent to an email recipient.
All of the above is working reliably, however, there are small changes required:
1. Please refer to attached 'CoM_SBS_20170202.csv'. The value of the 5th column (column E or 'Data Value') needs to be changed from 'L' (litre) unit to 'kL' (kilo litre or m3) unit, i.e. divided by factor 1000. Also currently its shows as a cumulative value per day. This needs to be changed to a value per interval (i.e. water usage per 15 minutes interval, e.g. 'Data Value' at the end of the interval minus 'Data Value' at the start of the interval). Please refer to 'Sample_CoM_SBS_20170202.xlsx' as it is a copy of 'CoM_SBS_20170202.csv' including the proposed changes. Please note that towards the end of the table the status of a number of diversion valves is monitored. Please exclude them from required changes as described above and below.
2. Please refer to attached 'CoM_SBS_20170202.csv'. The heading of the 6th column (column F or 'Units') needs to be called 'Pulses' and the unit needs to be changed from 'L' to 'kL'
The source code will be available as of request.
Specific technologies required: Go Programming Language
OS requirements: Linux
Extra notes:

Hi Evelyn, I read your requirements and willing to work on this. But, are you flexible with the budget ? $80 is too low for the job involved.
Evelyn H.09 Feb 2017Hi Abhijit, thanks for your question. The involvement will be to add possibly 10 rows of code to the existing application. Therefore it might take 1 to 2 hours to complete and the current budget should cover this.
