We are looking for a detail-oriented Cybersecurity Freelancer to conduct comprehensive security assessments. Our goal is to identify vulnerabilities, assess risks, and provide actionable remediation strategies for our current infrastructure. This is a project-based role with the potential for ongoing collaboration as part of our specialized research team.
Scope of Work
The selected freelancer will be responsible for:
Vulnerability Assessment: Perform deep-scan reconnaissance and manual testing to identify flaws (OWASP Top 10, logic errors, etc.).
Exploitation & Proof of Concept (PoC): Safely demonstrate how identified vulnerabilities could be exploited to prove impact.
Web3/Smart Contract Audit (Optional): If applying for Web3 tasks, conduct security audits on smart contracts and decentralized protocols.
Technical Reporting: Provide a structured report including:
Executive summary of risks.
Technical breakdown of vulnerabilities.
Step-by-step reproduction steps.
Specific remediation/patching advice.
Requirements & Qualifications
Experience: Minimum 3–5 years in penetration testing or vulnerability research.
Tooling Proficiency: Expert-level knowledge of tools such as Burp Suite, Nmap, Metasploit, SQLmap, or Slither/Mythril (for Web3).
Scripting: Proficiency in Python or Go for custom automation and script-based testing.
Certifications: OSCP, CEH, eJPT, or Microsoft Cybersecurity certification is highly preferred.
Communication: Ability to explain complex technical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
