Hi all,
I am a professional gambler that currently runs predictive models to bet on various sporting events. I'm looking for someone to help me with my modelling by building a predictive model to the best of their ability so that I can compare the output of mine and theirs and hopefully learn a thing or two along the way.
The job;
1. Build a model in r that outputs a PROBABILITY (this is key).
2. Write the script in R and provide full explanations as to your thought process and also what the code is doing.
3. Model can be in any form - my current work uses a gbm but I am open to using other forms of model that you think best suits the data.
4. Model should include feature selection/hypertuning features. Any other features are a much welcome bonus.
You;
1. Speak good English and are happy to answer any queries I may have promptly.
2. Preferably experience in modelling sports. Often people don't realise that sports often yield very low accuracy so someone with knowledge in sports modelling is ideal.
I look forward to working with you, please leave me a description of what you plan for the job and your relevant experience!
The data will be provided once the job has been accepted.
