Build a bitcoin client in testnet network using bitcoinj

General information for the business: Try to run an experiment in java, the experiment is about building a bitcoin client in testnet network using specific library called bitcoinj .

Description of requirements/functionality: To start with, I am working on bitcoin network and trying to measure the propagation delay in the network.For this purpose,I am trying to run an experiment in java.We have got a very useful and ready library called bitcoinj which was built in java.My experiment simply is writing a program in java(with help of bitcoinj) to set a bitcoin client in testnet network, then this client will connect to particular number of nodes(lets say 6 or less).Next,client will create a transaction and broadcast it to those nodes which are connects with.Because of the purpose of measuring the propagation delay,i want to record the time in which the transaction will visit each node.Honestly it is not a very complicated experiment because bitcoinj will offer as a very helpful instruments to build a client .I've done building the client and i have created a transaction as well.Now i am struggling with broadcasting process and measuring the time. If any one interested i will send him my code to start with.
