Description
Experience Level: Expert
There are 4 types of package on – each has a slightly different way of being booked.
Tabs should be from the left in order:
RIDING PACKAGES | DAILY RIDES | ACCOMODATION | EQUESTRIAN EVENTS
1. Riding Packages
This is the main function so has to be excellent!! Riding Packages are HOLIDAYS so should follow that pattern
a. Vendor will post available dates – ie each package will have a start and end date and an associated cost.
b. Customers will select from those available dates
c. Pricing will be per adult, vendor may offer children prices
d. Extras like ‘single occupancy supplement’, ‘pick up’ etc need to be allowed for
2. Daily Rides
a. This is where a customer can book a ride by the hour
b. Vendor will put available dates and times
c. Customers will book ‘slots’ eg 1000-1100
3. Accomodatation
a. Vendors will set availability
b. Users will book just like hotel booking
c. Vendors may set minimum stay eg 2 nights minimum
4. Equestrian Events
a. This is just like any event booking – vendor will post the event eg Horse Fair – Saturday/Sunday 24/25th April
b. Customers can book “tickets” for the event
Summary
So Riding packages is like holiday booking, Daily Rides like appointment booking, Accomodation like hotel/accommodation booking and Equestrian Events like event booking.
In all cases there is the option to use Enquiry Tab.
