Bind and Build libgphoto2 for android and make the changes required for the library to work under Xamarin.Android you find instructions on how to do that below.
For this use a Linux distribution and build the library with the android NDK to a shared library for android as a .so binary also for the different android architectures.
(Also document which version of the NDK you are using when building and what Linux Version)
+ Include a .sh script that automates the build process.
+ Make sure to include Documentation of what you did and how: The results of the implementation need to be reproduceable with those instructions.
