Bar code scanner lookup in Excel - YES/NO on list?

I have a daily list of no more than 300 items which have been detained by Customs. These are listed on an Excel Spreadsheet

I have 1000 items being delivered. I need to scan each item in (with a Bar Code reader)

I want the Bar Code reader to bleep loudly if the item is on the Excel Spreadsheet. Any bar code reader can be used preferably wireless and preferably we need two to work at the same time so 2 people can unload the parcels

I am based in the UK so would prefer use a well know "industry" bar code reader (rather than a cheap non-branded item) as if the bar code reader gets dropped or broken it allows us to source replacements. We would probably buy three bar code readers -2 being used and 1 as a spare.

I imagine this is really simple ?
