We have a live wealth management platform for real estate investors, built in Bubble.io with AWS Lambda for backend processing. Our MVP is running, but we need a focused engineer to implement a reliable monthly performance snapshot process that computes and stores key metrics per investor.
This is not a rebuild. You’ll extend existing logic with a clear, contained task.
Deliverables
1. Scheduled Snapshot Job (AWS Lambda): Implement a Lambda function (Node.js or Python) that runs on a schedule (e.g., monthly) and can also be triggered manually for testing.
2. Core Metric Calculation & Persistence: For each investor, compute and store monthly metrics such as portfolio value, change vs. previous period, and key cash-flow/equity-type metrics. These records must be stored in a way that is reliably accessible by Bubble.
3. Basic Observability & Error Handling: Implement logging for job runs (success/failure, processed counts) and clear error paths for diagnosable issues.
4. Re-run & Backfill Capability: Provide a simple mechanism to re-run the job for specific periods (e.g., last month) and ensure data consistency.
5. Light Documentation: A short technical note describing the formulas used, data inputs/outputs, main job steps, and configuration adjustments.
