Automated script to collect basketball (NBA) data

Kind of development: New program from scratch

Description of requirements/functionality: Please see the files provided in the following link (https://www.dropbox.com/sh/nlbwpb8y7jikwob/AABrALVUv2AIFtBGWE1kE7a-a?dl=0). Basically, I am trying to pull various data on each of 3,500 or so individual NBA players from a website. Though the Excel sheet ("Instructions") refers to AutoIt, I don’t really care what specific program you use as long as I get the code for an open source software and sample data (e.g., data on 10 or so randomly chosen players).

Specific technologies required: Any freely downloadable program (e.g., AutoIt, php, selenium) that can collect data automatically from websites.

Extra notes: I have several other automated script projects I need help on. If things work out great, I would be more than happy to use your services again for those projects. Please do let me know when you think you will be able to finish the job (e.g., Feb 1, 2015).
