Description
Experience Level: Entry
Estimated project duration: 1 day or less
https://dotnetfiddle.net/Widget/muCOEQ is the current example.
I need help learning c# syntax for getting json into strings and objects by tomorrow afternoon GMT.
I am timezone EST which is GMT-5 though i'm okay with working asynchronously
I'll probably award this outright to whoever can fix my beginners mistakes and provide commented code that explains the mistakes(example if I forgot to initialize something or why syntax is wrong) to get me to my next goal: string concatenation from json values
https://dotnetfiddle.net/Widget/muCOEQ Is the current example code and errors for the sym tax that's tripping me up
About you:
Please have good TECHNICAL writing skills (english), we do not have to voice or video.
I' prefer to demonstrate/share/work/code in an online collab editor like https://dotnetfiddle.net/ and using togetherjs if we are online at the same time but i'm okay with working asynchronously.
You will need to know common problems with syntax for strings like hardcoding strings, escape characters, and dealing with objects-strings, json objects, json strings, strings, searching in strings,json,arrays. algorithmic knowledge helps but not needed
I want to first get to the point where I have this valid json's Names array able to output into strings that I can run a search algorithm on:
{"Contact": {"Names": ["adfadsfa", "oipiursterz", "anrsyus", "q326qyjg", "awerdf", "afhgrtusadfd", "qwrtylokjhsszvbnt", "WASETRYUUKJHZXCVH", "ADFBHNJDTRTSYERS", "XGNMTRSDFSA", "OIUTH", "DCAVSNRT", "QWERTHGB", "MNBFA", "ASDFGH"] }, "Id": "132456-ADFA-1325a-AS34-eafghrt75wsf33", "TimeIssued": "2018-07-14T03:06:14.7063397Z"}
I'm using the standard newtonsoft.json(https://www.newtonsoft.com/json) later it will be probably using Windows.Data.Json;
Tools I've been using to generate classes using the above JSON http://json2csharp.com/ , https://app.quicktype.io
Both have made code that generates errors like :
'Compilation error (line 36, col 53): ; expected'
'Compilation error (line 36, col 94): Invalid token '(' in class, struct, or interface member declaration'
Very annoying experience so far /shrug
