Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
General information for the business: Contract project development
Kind of development: New program from scratch
Description of requirements/functionality: Looking for someone willing to program multiple very small Arduino projects on a contract basis. I will provide specific requirements. You will quote the total cost to complete. Must be able to communicate clearly in English. Code must be documented clearly so that I can understand how it works. Much of the work will be on the same project just divided into small incremental improvements. One objective is to use small scale projects to find people that can work this way in a timely fashion and form a long term relationship that can collaborate on future larger projects. I will hire and pay multiple people to do the same work in order better select the best people to work with long term.
CMS and Admin requirements: Arduino IDE
Specific technologies required: Arduino Uno, Arduino YUN, Adafruit OLED display or equivalent
OS requirements: Windows
Extra notes: First project will be to use Arduino Uno to read a switch and display different information based on how many times the switch has been activated. The display is a Monochrome 0.96”OLED display, SSD1306 128x63 SPI, http://www.adafruit.com/products/326
I expect the first requirement will be to debounce the switch then cycle the displayed information sequentially for three different cases or operational modes.
The second requirement will be to read some sensors and display values based on which case or mode the device is operating in.
Etc.
Once this is complete the next phase will be to migrate the software to a Arduino YUN and wirelessly transmit status information to a Google Sheets file. The method used will be similar to this example: http://justingale.com/2013/09/url-tricks-for-google-forms-pre-populate-and-automatically-submitting-responses/
