Experience Level: Intermediate
Script needed to allow one unified login for Wordpress, BBPress and unspecified Shopping Cart software. Shopping cart software wil be PHP Based and decided in next couple of days. Input will be accepted from potential bidders.
It would be preferable for the registration form to incorporate AJAX to allow real time feedback on whether username being typed is already taken and can appear in a lightview type popup, whilst including a CAPTCHA type function to prevent bot registrations.
Upon successful registration it will insert username and password into all of the associated databases incase of future changes and removals. It will also insert an address into the Shopping Cart software, but suggestions on what to do if we only use USERNAME and PASSWORD fields is welcome.
Preferably SQL information for each of the 3 sections will be editable in a single location.
Upon successful login it will create necessary cookies for all 3 codes, allowing the user to move around all of the site and be logged in from one login action.
An extension of this project (which can be included in your bid) is a small cart summary that can go in the universal header so that in main site, forum and blogs the users has a small version of their cart total.
