Description
Experience Level: Expert
I need a web based adhoc report and chart creator made for a SaaS application.
I want to be able to choose tables, fields in the tables and relationships between tables in the background and then make it so that any user can create any report or chart from the available fields.
This MUST be secure to ensure users can only access their data and only access the fields and tables I have chosen. Also the users should not be able to view actual table names or column names etc from the application so the database schema should remain hidden.
Each report needs to support grouping, filtering, totals/averages etc and sorting and should be able to be saved for future usage as well as exported to PDF and CSV and printed and emailed to one or more email addresses according to a schedule.
Each chart (minimum of bar, stacked bar, line and pie) should support filtering and totals/averages/counts etc and should be able to be saved for future use as well as exported to image (PNG/JPG for example) and printed and emailed to one or more email addresses according to a schedule.
http://mysqlreports.com/demo/wizard/step_2.php will give you an idea of the kind of thing I want to do but it does not need the ability to customise the look and feel - I just want users to choose table(s), columns, grouping, filtering and sorting and then run the report.
You must be able to provide previous experience of complex PHP development - simple websites and bug fixing scripts etc will not suffice. If you send a list of all the previous jobs you have done I will not look at them - please send me details of the previous RELEVANT PHP work you have done. Failing to do so will result in your application being deleted.
I do not want this built on any frameworks - just pure PHP and MySQL. I do not mind what libraries are used but if a different library is used for reports and charts the front ends should still look the same so the look and feel is standard across both.
