Description
Experience Level: Entry
I have an existing Django web application which uses traditional synchronous views.
New version of Django supports async view. I've followed a few tutorials to add a simple async view, but I can't get it to work. This project is to add a very simple working async view to the app. The view can simply contain a sleep() command, so long as it works in async.
The application has several middlewares installed which could be preventing async from working. If so then these need to be identified. I will then update or remove the middleware so that you can complete the async view.
The application code is on Github. You will need to commit code there.
