Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Estimated project duration: 1 day or less
General information for the website: Online resource and directory
Kind of development: Customization of existing website
Description of every page/module: Within the directory side of the website (www.thefitoutpontoon.co.uk) we are looking to add an additional type of paid listing (to be called Mini Listing) that displays in the front end (see x3 page pdf for design concept and back office screen shots). Mini listing will need to use the existing database fields and work with the current admin area. Some additional fields will be required to facilitate a change to the 'county' feature.
Company Name:
Description:
Tel:
Email: (coded with mailto: to launch an email on click)
Website: (coded to launch website on click in new window)
The back office already has all these input fields (the description field is there but is current a redundant text box not being used)
At present the directory sections can be filtered by county. Currently there is a county field that auto populates when you start typing and this then assigns the company to a county for the front end county filter. In this update I would like an additional tick-able list in the back office for additional counties to be assigned to companies as many companies would like to promote there company in multiple counties. this tick able list would work directly with the county front end filter.
The pdf attached shows the front end design of the Mini Listing all assets can be provided, the pdf also shows the back office admin area that this Mini Listing will need to plug into. I have detail on the pdf what needs to be added in the back office to facilitate this Mini Listing.
These listing will need to be displayed in random order so not to favour any companies
Description of requirements/features: Will need to be able to quickly understand the custom php coding and be able to customise as required and ensure any changes made have no adverse effects to the websites current functionality.
Extra notes:
