Description
Description of requirements/functionality: I have an RSS Feed created through this shopify app: https://apps.shopify.com/facebook-product-catalog which is working perfectly.
The issue is that the prices in Shopify Admin are 20% lower than on the main site, so the RSS Feed is taking the prices from the Admin less 20%. What I need is for 20% to be added to the prices of the RSS Feed and then it re-saved exactly as it is. I am hoping this can be a relatively easy fix using a script of some-kind.
I have attached the accepted Feed Formats here: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/marketing-api/dynamic-product-ads/product-catalog#feed-format as it doesn't necessarily have the be re-saved as an XML, as long as it is updated from the main RSS that is being created.
Happy to provide any further info via message.
Thanks in advace
Specific technologies required: RSS, XML, Script

Hi,
thank you for the invitation but I'm not familiar with Shopify. But as far as logic is concerned, I don't understand how you can maintain two separate sets of prices, one on your main site and the other on Shopify? Shouldn't your website pull data from Shopify or vice-versa? Why is the difference in prices consistently 20%?
Is it meant that way? Did you try to pull a feed from your main site and couldn't so you decided to use Shopify's feed instead, hence the issue of price difference?
Also, a feed is generated in real-time so there's no such thing as re-saving the feed. Feeds are not stored in databases, they are generated based on what you have in your database.
If you can answer these questions maybe I can help.
Thank you,
Lucy
