ACQUIRING DIGITAL EVIDENCE (FORENSIC COMPUTING PROJECT)

This project is an investigation of the artefacts of Microsoft Edge, which basically is an investigation, the scenario is that, if a person uses Microsoft edge to browse illegal stuff and even though if he deletes the artefacts, the question is, will the investigator be able to recover the deleted artefacts. the project is done in a way where, a virtual machine is created on VMware, in the virtual machine the Microsoft edge is downloaded, then the browser is used to do illegal stuff, then all the artefacts are deleted, the investigation is that, are the artefacts recoverable? if yes how? if no explain. we have to show the proof of what we have done in order to recover the artefacts as well as write a detailed report.
