Description
Fast forward to today and a message popped up on the screen locking the phone and saying:
Amazon
Passkey: 80271***
IMEI 3501769511*****
This device has been reported as lost or stolen and must be returned to amazon. Please call 08081453768 for details
I have called the number stated three times and no one has been able to help or provide any info or next steps etc. They kept asking for an account number.
I also called samsung but there was nothing they can do, they said this is coming from inside Amazon. They also stated that what might have happened is that this phone originally came from amazon orders and was lost or stolen and then sold on which makes sense as to why customer service was asking for an account number. I think once they have the account number I am supposed to provide them with the passkey to get the pin to unlock the phone.
But the problem is I did'nt buy it from amazon so I don't know the account number etc!
AT THIS POINT I DONT CARE ABOUT THE PHONE, I JUST WANT MY DATA FROM IT (Pictures etc)
See photos attached of message on lock screen. CAN ANYONE PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's obviously a lost/stolen phone. Your only option is to call the number and either return or pay for the phone so it can be unblocked.
You do understand that the phone is most likely stolen and it's an offence to handle stolen goods, right...? Hacking a blocked, stolen phone is NOT the answer... -
Dear Ayman!
Would it be possible for you to attach your valid purchase receipt? -

I feel your pain - I wont bid as I am just chancing - have the photos been backed up to the cloud?, can you see your storage if you plug your phone to a laptop?, can you phone amazon and pay for the phone?, can you go back to the car boot and ask who you bought it from?

Did you try using your email as the account number bcz generally it is the account number and if not then there is a high chance it is stolen
