Description
Experience Level: Expert
2 files and one data file.
File 1 is a C program that translates stdf data files to ASCII. The STDF format description can be found on the web or I can provide one. I would like to update the C program so that it compiles with gcc on a SunOs or Linux box.
Please provide details on what you needed to modify to get it to work. Any gnu freeware C compiler is acceptable as long as I can duplicate it on my box. Please provide the ASCII output so I can decide how to convert it to a csv format. If I can get this program to ouput field based comma deliminated ASCII I will skip the File 2 Perl project below.
File 2 is a MySQL script that loads STDF data into MYSQL. It output the data in the CSV format that I want but I want the output format to be ASCII. The project is to convert the loader into Perl.
