Requirement:
Calculate an employee's next day back at work following their annual leave and insert it into the Return_to_work column in the Absence Date table
An entry for each annual leave day is held in the Absence Date table.
A work week is Monday to Friday. A work day is 0900 to 1700
Employees can book a full day of annual leave or half days of annual leave, either AM or PM.
If an AM half day (0900 to 1300) is booked then the employee will work that afternoon.
The Code field shows what type of annual leave is booked.
AL Full day annual leave
ALAM Morning annual leave
ALPM Afternoon annual leave
An additional table holds a public holiday dates which are not worked that need to be taken into account in the calculation.
