Hi
Job : Spam Email Blocking service requiring development of Plugins for email client software
(Requires expertise in .net or C++ and JavaScript)
I am soon launching a Free Spam Killing service (NilSpam). When an email is received, a few bits of information (addressee email address, sender email address, & some data from the header of the email) are sent in an encrypted string to our servers, which would then respond saying Accept it, Junk it, or Delete it.
Additionally, when an email is viewed, the user has the ability to press a few buttons to do things such as add the sender to their BLOCK list or ALLOW list etc.
As a result, I have a requirement for series of small email client plug-ins.
All the main email clients need to be eventually coped with, but the logic will be consistent throughout.
At this stage, please quote for either Thunderbird or Outlook.
Full definition of the encoding, the data structures, and the additional client features are available in a detailed specification document available on request.
In an ideal world, you should be able to develop all of the email client plugins, and offer a price for the initial development, plus a re-working fee to apply the same logic/code to other email clients.
All rights including copyright, and the full source code will be the exclusive property of NilSpam. Nilspam is likely to require additional programming work as the project matures, a long-term relationship would be ideal.
FOR INFO
Additionally, similar plugins (but needing to work in a slightly different way) will need to be developed for the Webmail Services (Gmail, Yahoo etc) by developing plugins for the main web browsers (IE, Firefox, etc.) to deliver similar functions if the user is logged into their email service.
Finally, it is intended that this service should also work if the user checks emails from mobile devices, so eventually similar functionality for I-Phones, Android etc. will be required.
So, if you also have the expertise to do the web browser plugins, and/or the mobile plug-ins that would be excellent.
