I want to scrape a some data from a web page.
The application must be written in Java,( plain old, nothing fancy )
User provides base page URI ( all a subset of the same site ), password and username and can set a default scrape period and mode ( email redirect or file append )
Application runs, logs on to the users site, navigates to the data sub page and maintains a session with that page. The application then compares data ( periodically according to the time set ) and when there is a change directs the new data to an email address or local file ( append ).
The screen to be scraped is part of the spot tracker site. logon page at https://login.findmespot.com/index.jsp
Their technology is obviously jsp
