Online resource booking system

We have a requirement for an online booking system to allow registered users to make bookings for IT services. The application will integrate into our existing website portal and will be based on a database backend, java Tomcat web application using custom OpenCMS JSP front end. The following design artefacts will be provided - data model in the form of an Oracle schema, mockup of user screens and description of the business logic which is to be implemented using Spring JDBC, POJO's at the application context layer.
