Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
We want development of the Orange coloured component in the diagram (attached). The flow will be as follows:
Our Java Webservice client will call your .NET SOAP Webservice with a few parameters, say:
>> Project ID
>> Task ID (or WBS ID) e.g. 1.1 etc.
>> Percentage Complete e.g 25, 50 or 100 etc.
Your .NET SOAP Webservice will then invoke the MS Project Servers Webservices Interface (the PSI) and update the specified task in the specified project with the specified percentage complete.
In effect, after our Java Webservice invokes your .NET SOAP Webservice, we will be able to view the Project on the MS Project Server and see the specified task line show the specified percentage complete.
The MS Project Server 2007 MUST be the MS Project Server Virtual Machine (VM) provided by Microsoft. The deliverables will be:
> A .NET SOAP Webservice with a simple WSDL and Schema i.e. exposes one operation with a simple input message (with three elements of type string)
> Instructions on how to install the .NET Webservice on the MS Project Server VM
Work needs to be delivered by 9th April, so I am seeking first bidder with reasonable price and subject area knowledge.
Please explain your approach and any other information needed.
