Need a Web application

1st Milestone of the project would be to have the framework ready and the the Web Interface done. I have already designed the whole database and we would need the front end to fetch data and populate,etc
2nd Milestone would be to have the backend logic written(can give very detailed info and help in this) and the exposure of specific web services(will be given) for future mobile apps, and other 3rd party applications to communicate.
3rd Miestone would be to have all the back office UI done for populating data in the database, configuration, etc.
4th Milstone would be completed after 2 successful deployments of project, 1 month support, code handover & documentation

Functioning of the software can be explained in detail and contributed significantly by the in-house team.

It is basically a call accounting & Guest services app. With some modules similar to Aliceapp. phase 1 is not that vast though and does not include any mobile apps.

I have the psd files for the design. I have also designed the whole database that is needed for the project. May need some optimisation which we can work on.

Call accounting: this module would receive the call information via guest services, the rates of which needs to be calculated based on some rate structures in the database and stored.

This includes interfaces with some 3rd party applications which would send data via web services. i would define all the methods to you. it uses an intermediate software for the translation which is already in place.

We can also directly send and receive messages to the 3rd party applications via a tcp ip socket, which would need a parser and a formatter to format the data as per the requirement of the applications. what do you suggest? is it better to build it within our application or continue using the intermediate software?

a part of the call accounting system is also to have the user of the telephone system classify the calls they make as personal/business etc and submit for approval with a reason for making the call. the manger would approve/reject/as more reason for the call.

the guest services part of the application is basically a very small internal helpdesk software for all the service requests which happen within a hotel for different departments like housekeeping, room service. creating requests would trigger notifications to the person responsible (based on a mechanism i will explain) via SMS or email. the service request is timed and have 6-7 status of the task. it gets escalated through various levels when not completed on time. escalation triggers notifications as well. tasks cam be scheduled for a later time, cancelled, time extended.
the tasks are predefined within the system and can be sent as an adhoc if not found. some tasks may have associated with them a checklist which needs to be completed(phase 2 from the mobile app) the task is closed via IVR. you don't need to worry about the IVR part, i will be doing the integration.

Reports are needed based on different criteria for all the modules

There is a front of house part of the application which the users would be accessing and the back of house part which will be controlled on access rights. which the admin will be using for mainly CRUD and some master level settings.
