MediaWiki project

We are looking to hire a developer to build the first application of a large Mediawiki project. Based on his/her efficiency in this initial task we may continue working together in the project. The first task is to build an extension that will allow to import all the information from a bibtex file into the MediaWiki database. Bibliographic information should be associated to the article and be easily retrieved and displayed. Candidates for this first task should be able to demonstrate php and mysql skills and specifically experience with MediaWiki applications.
