Description
Experience Level: Expert
Java Developer Required
We need an experienced Java developer to develop a SOAP web service which will import user information into an existing system. The system currently has a SOAP interface set-up on a Glassfish application server that accepts incoming SOAP requests and loads these into a queue for processing. A new call will be added to this service, which our customer's system will use to send user data, the data is required to be put into a JMS queue for processing. The JMS queue will deal with the processing of the data which will involve creating the user in the various tables and some set-up processes.
A detailed specification of the required solution will be made available, as well as a document detailing the interface specification and WSDLs.
This work is part of a larger project, so whilst the work required is expected to be short term, there may be a requirement for bug fixes and small changes over the following few months. The project is due to go into integration test at the end of August with a delivery in October.
The Developer will be required to follow our project management guidelines and meet deadlines. The developer must be able to communicate effectively in English.
