Java program/ Knowledge of networking

In need of a Java programmer with some networking skills and database skills. The program is not doing all the required jobs needed therefore some changes in the coding wil help. Continue from a piece of Java software with some additional features that will be required to complete the final application. Skills about networking protocols and creating database will be important to continue with this project. Developer must be able to examine the current program and continue the work from there.
I'm looking for someone that can open a java program in NETBEANS and view the code and do some changes to make the necessary required which i will mention in further details. I have full permission from the developer of the software to do this. The software is supposed to capture data and store it in a database. The software in itself is not complicated and it is a very basic program. Of course as i mentioned I would be willing to divulge more information to a potential developer that maybe interested in taking this project on.
