Flash/AIR app needs Java based camera interaction and multi-printer 4x6 printing

Multi-platform Adobe AIR application in later stages of development requires a reliable, stable, and robust Java solution for
* camera interaction / image capture
* multi-printer 4x6 photo printing

Camera interaction -- Image capture from a range of possible cameras including in-built FaceTime camera, in-built Lenovo camera, and webcam's including the Logitech C910. This needs to work across Windows, OSX 10.6, 10.7, iOS, and Android. The Flash/AIR camera class has not been able to correctly capture images across all OS's and camera's. Images sometimes appear squished or motion looks warped.

Printing - Application prints 4x6 photo to USB connected dye-sublimation printers. We need Java solution for printing to any 4x6 photo printer regardless of make, model, or orientation. For example, the Canon Selphy CP780 prints vertically, whereas the HiTi P510S prints horizontally. We need a seamless solution that will print correctly on all 4x6 photo printers.

You will work alongside the existing Flash/AIR developer, who has worked on the project since inception.
