CUSTOM EPOS SYSTEM

General information for the business: EPOS system required for cafe
Kind of development: New program from scratch
Description of requirements/functionality: we need epos system that can:
Work in restaurants and takeaways but also retail environments.

Main page payout must be variable so that button size and colour can be altered depending on circumstances of use.

Must be able to split categories down into sub categories and sub-sections
Must be able to build up a meal from a selection of additional items available on the epos system.
Tabs to allow a person or table to start stored and increase a bill as the meal progresses.
Able to select a table (1-20), partially create an order then select another table and create order and then return to the original table to continue processing order.

TO be used offline only.

Records payment methods.

Able to calculate and apply discounts
Button to allow the use of vouchers


Additional facilities:

Full x and z reads to include breakdown per user

To run on Win OS 32 or 64 bit (fully compatible from Windows 7 onwards) touch screen tablet
Custom VAT %
Reprint last receipt button
Sales report showing itemised sales transaction (format to be agreed) for specified date range


Backend:
To be proposed and agreed during design (flat file db is fine).
DB design to be agreed
Must have ability to export/edit and then import data

Printer: print receipt to 80mm epos printer connected via USB (format to be agreed)

Full source files and window installation files to be provided

System should be very similar to ECT Touch Restaurant version Eposcompany.co.uk (please see trial version).
