Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
General information for the app: Mobile App
Kind of development: Customization of existing app
Description of requirements/features: need a custom UIImagePickerController or similar developed for iOS 7. The user will trigger one of two types of this picker controller. They will tap on a button that will present a UIActionSheet, which will then give the user the option to Take a Photo, or Choose a Photo.
If the user chooses to take a photo, a camera interface will appear. This camera interface needs to be completely black with a 320px round hole cut out in the middle (this shows the user that they’re going to get a round photo.) The camera controls should include: a Cancel button in bottom left, a shutter button in bottom middle, flash controls in upper left corner, and a rotate front/rear camera button in top right corner. When the user changes flash modes, and or front/rear camera, those values need to be saved for the next time the camera picker is presented.
When the user takes a photo with the above mentioned camera picker, an editing view needs to be displayed. This editing view needs to be black as well, with the same 320px round hole cut out in the middle. The button controls needed in this editing view are: a Retake button in bottom left corner, a Choose button in bottom right corner, a rotate photo button above the 320px circle, and an assortment of 10 filters the user can choose from to apply to the photo. Lastly, the user needs to be able to move and scale the photo with pinch to zoom. If they choose the Retake button, the view should return to the camera interface, if they choose the Choose button, The editing view and picker should be dismissed and return the user’s edited image.
Lastly, if the user chooses to choose a photo from their photo library, a image picker needs to be displayed for their photo albums. When the user selects a photo, the same editing view that was used for the camera picker needs to be displayed to let the user perform the same options. The only difference is the Retake button’s title would be Cancel in this case.
Must not use any private strings or classes to modify Apple’s stock picker.
Should be a 1 or 2 day job for someone fluent in iOS development
