Description
Experience Level: Expert
I need somebody to write a winforms gantt control that will show multiple bars container multiple coloured sections. It needs to scale based on the lower and higher bounds given to it (time) and also to scroll smoothly and quickly as those bounds change realtime. As gantt bars are added it will need to automaticaly stack the gannt bars if they overlap.
One mode will just show the gantt bars, another mode will show gantt bars and time labels.
It requires that the user can grab a bar and slide it left or right whilst the control raises events to say this particular bar has moved. Also a dotted line will show the systems current position on the gantt which again will move realtime. The bars will also need a tooltip and a selection event raised when clicked.
An object model will be provided with the data however the details of this and required events/interaction with the object model can be discussed. Being a C# application developer myself I will expect a certain level of quality in the code and my naming convention to be followed. The only reason i'm outsourcing this is because I don't have the time to write this new control. I do have initial prototypes of this control, however it may be easier to start from scratch.
Once contacted I can show more details of the project.
