Broken android app, help

I have an android app, which was working fine, but I have tried to create a new database and host myself and now it’s not working. The app is a simple app, displaying a rolling banner and the some picture and text pages, these are editable by the admin user.

The app holds its data on a server, so it’s shared data with a iOS version of the app. Good working knowledge of android and php and MySQL needed to complete this project. I have most of the source code, including php and MySQL.

* The job is to get the app fully working again and help me to upload the database myself, so I can do this in future.
