Basic MS SQL import process

I have a simple requirement to create a very basic databasesetup.sql and an import file to be able to import the attached file into SQL. I have 5 or 6 of these files i want to import. I know my way around SQL Studio OK so all I need is the DBsetup script so I can execute with SA privledges, and also an import script to import the files into the DB. Please see below for some notes / considerations:

Im looking for a good communicator here as there is likely going to be more requirements / changes to add onto this.

The file is XSLX but if its easier then im happy to cut into a CSV file (i.e please dont waste time accomodating Excel i can cut to CSV quickly

Im not bothered about duplicates at this stage I will ask that in a further requirement, but do need to know how many were processed / important (SQL will tell me I assume).

Looking for a pretty quick turn around this is a pretty quick very low level SQL job so assuming it will be quite cheap.

Final delivery is debsetup.sql and cvsimport.sql I would imagine.
