Android Firmware Update software & APK Update

Description of requirements/functionality: 1.Firmware Auto Update Alert:

The system will show an alert for updating the firmware when
a new update is available in a remote FTP repository. The FTP repository
will have firmware stored with a version number and date.The system will be
using a cron to show an alert and the cron would be
running every 12 hrs to make sure that it doesn't load our FTP server.

2. APK Update

All APK can be stored and updated from a remote repository. The
system will show an update when the any of the APKs updated

The application should work similar to WINDOWS UPDATE . Please do not
expect me to write requirement specifications. If is your job to come up
with a list of things which may not be possible at this stage rather than
have problems later in the project.
