Description: Hey all i am needing an Android app to be translated into a VB.net app (be it a form or a .dll). The app currently displays COM data for a radar detector (Valentine 1) via the Bluetooth "V1connect" adapter (http://www.valentine1.com/v1info/v1connection/). This could also be just a SERIAL COM program using only a VB.net program without needing the android app conversion. It's all in on how good you are at reading binary data from a COM port (see ESP Tech Spec PDF below for more detail).
Here are some useful PDF's for the Valentine 1: http://www.valentine1.com/v1info/ESP/ http://www.valentine1.com/v1info/pdf/manual_2012/Pg16-18_ControlsFunctions.pdf http://www.june3rdsoftware.com/ESP%20Technical%20Specification.pdf
The android app code and library: http://www.june3rdsoftware.com/Android_ESP_Library_Revision_1.zip
I'm not placing a price on this vb.net app/dll since it can be done in 2 ways. It just depends on the bidder which they would feel more comfortable with doing. The lower the price the better chance that i will choose you. The lower the price the better chance i will choose you. Naturally, whomever wins the bid will need to communicate with me very well since i will need to test out the code for you (unless you happen to have a valentine 1 radar detector + v1connect bluetooth adapter handy).
You can download the android app from the android store and place it into "demo mode" in order to see how the app code works even if you dont have a valentine 1 radar detector.
