Overview
The Android App will demonstrate to customers how data from an Amazon Web Services DynamoDB database can be displayed on an Android application. Modification of some of the data will be possible.
In addition to the android app a demonstration DynamoDB database will be created.
Data Format
The data in the database will be:-
8 digit hex Random number Timestamp (date:HH:MM:SS) Acknowledged

• The demonstration database will have at least 10 entries from 3 different users.
• The acknowledge element of data will be a flag. The android app will allow the user to set the flag to indicate that the data element has been read.
The source of the data in the real world application is outside the scope of this specification.
Data Security
The database will contain data from all users. Each user will only be able to see their data. Amazon Web Services has security built in and this will form the basis of the security used. It is not envisaged that the app will need any additional security.
App Screens
There are 2 screens envisaged:-
1 The opening screen allows the user to enter their credentials
2 The display screen showing the data for each user.
a The user may select to see:-
i all of their data
ii only data elements that have been acknowledged.
iii only data elements that have not been acknowledged.
Deliverables
The project will be complete when it has been tested by Bostin Technology Services Ltd.
All source code, design notes, drawings and any material used in the creation of the application shall be delivered.
All IP contained in the application shall be owned by Bostin Technology Services Ltd and will form the basis of future products.
