Experience Level: Expert
I am looking to hire a Unity 3D programmer/graphic artist to code a 1-player game ( no multi-player or onine connectivity) with 1 level using either the Unity/UE4 terrain creator and/or 3DS Max or similar software.
The game is 2D looking game but will be made in Unity 3D to use the camera controls for better effects etc.
There is some source available but it's not good to use as it's wrong.So you'll need to start from scratch and copy the 1 level from a Unity build & video.So you copy the 1 level scenario and create new graphics.
The game is about flying a rocket ship & rescuing people on a planet;
So we need 1 level to made,
So you’ll need to develop a set of "several modular rocks" to go into the different areas of the play area, differentiating them by rock type, which must be correctly mapped (UVW Mapping), as well as different types of materials (shaders). To achieve a professional level of materials development you’ll need to use Substance Designer & Painter software.
You’ll see in the video that you’ll need to fix the correct scale of the entire game scene level, so create the entire route from scratch as well as design and integrate the different rock models that will be developed specifically to be located according to the origin of coordinates XYZ for later be integrated into Unity 3D.
Youll need to setup all the lighting system for the entire game level from scratch, which includes the two types of lighting to be used (static and dynamic), as well as carry out the Light baking process for all static 3D objects.
You’ll need to import all the 3D models in to make the scale correction to the correct size of the scene, and later be exported in FBX and integrated into the Unity 3D video game engine.
You’ll need to deliver the complete scenario integrated into Unity 3D, including its 3D models source files, as well as the main rocket ship improved, also as develop the different collision areas of the entire topography (rocks), set the Level Of Detail (LOD), which can be used later & reused and vary according to the differences with future levels and complexity of the scenarios to be developed.
You’ll need to deliver all the 3D source files in FBX format, as well as material Shaders with their Texture Maps (Diff, Nor, Spec, Opac, etc.) so that I can have a full backup of the entire project.You’ll also need to deliver the final Unity build and all source code.
All of the content, 3d models, characters, particle systems, audio, setup screens will be provided.You'll need to test some of the content to make sure it's fully working in Unity.
The gameplay also needs to be coded involving the main rocket ship, 3 enemy ships, enemy soldier, 3 hostages and main pilot character.It’s all 1 player campaign so no multiplayer.I will advise you on what needs to happen in the gameplay scenario.
The front end also needs to added, character & option screens.
Audio files will also be supplied.
