Description
Experience Level: Entry
Estimated project duration: 1 - 2 weeks
Hello,
I search for a unity programmer that can modify my game as required (a match puzzle game project).
Brief information:
The modification i need is, a conversion from the currenctly only single player game to local multi-singleplayer (NOT MULTIPLAYER -> Means no communication between the players/games needed. NO NETWORKING!).
Means like every player play his own game, non-dependent from other players, while copies of the (full) game itself gets rendered on another position/rotation on the screen.
Imagine you have a candy crush like game, and modify to have the behavior to something like this: https://imgur.com/a/CTyJysW
I think thats a very good and self explaining example of what i need.
Futher information:
I see two possible ways to do it. Tell me if you have other or maybe simplier ideas!
- Manually duplicating the scene (elements) inside the scene itself and to re-position them for the other players.
- Using a plugin like "Advanced Multi-Scene: Cross-Scene References!", to load exact copies of the scene multiple times in runtime and to re-position them for the other players, which in my view could safe many time (Also for me when modifying / adding things in the future).
- Or you know a better way? Maybe to somehow multi instance the scenes to dont break current code? I was not able to find a solution so far...
Anyway, both my ways surely would break the game code, because of global functions, variables and other reasons.
So a (little) adding/removing/fixing code might be also required and finally i also need you to use/add a good multi touch plugin (i wont agree you doing a own plugin from scratch), as people will just play with their fingers. Means the current input methods needs to be removed/modified to just allow (position based) multi touch.
There are a few pretty good multitouch (and gesture) ready plugins on the asset store. I'm still not sure which might be the best one, tell me your thoughts!
Best wishes
Dan
