Hi Jonathan
Your budget is a placeholder? -

Could you please provide more details about your technology to help us prepare a comprehensive proposal?
Specifically, we’d like to know the type of technology (e.g., software platform, application, or hardware), its core functionality, and its underlying architecture (e.g., programming language, database, hosting environment). Additionally, does your technology have integration capabilities, such as APIs, SDKs, or data exchange formats (e.g., REST, SOAP, or file-based)?
Lastly, it would be helpful to understand your specific integration goals and any business processes you’d like to streamline with SAP S/4HANA.Jonathan G.14 Jan 2025Integration Requirements for KOIOS Software with SAP S/4HANA
Objective:
We aim to integrate the KOIOS software with SAP S/4HANA to enable seamless data exchange and operational workflows between our system and SAP's Field Logistics, Material Master, and Plant Maintenance modules. The goal is to enhance efficiency, ensure data consistency, and improve operational decision-making.
Integration Scope:
Field Logistics Integration:
Objective: Streamline logistics processes, including tracking and managing materials, tools, and equipment across field operations.
Requirements:
APIs for real-time data synchronization for inventory status, material availability, and location tracking.
Integration with SAP Field Logistics' delivery and receipt processes to align with KOIOS's workflow.
Bi-directional data exchange to update field logistics operations in real time.
Material Master Integration:
Objective: Centralize and manage material data across both platforms to maintain consistency and eliminate redundancies.
Requirements:
Synchronization of material master data (e.g., material ID, descriptions, units of measure, material types).
API endpoints to handle material creation, updates, and deletions.
Validation and mapping of data between SAP Material Master and KOIOS.
Plant Maintenance Integration:
Objective: Enhance maintenance workflows by linking equipment data, maintenance schedules, and work orders between the two systems.
Requirements:
Integration of equipment hierarchy and specifications between SAP Plant Maintenance and KOIOS.
Exchange of maintenance work orders and status updates.
APIs for managing notifications and capturing failure logs and maintenance history.
Technical Requirements:
API Development:
Leverage SAP S/4HANA OData or SOAP APIs for seamless integration.
Develop corresponding endpoints in KOIOS to handle data exchange.
Authentication and Security:
Ensure secure communication using OAuth2.0 or SAP-specific authentication mechanisms.
Adhere to SAP’s integration security guidelines.
Data Transformation and Mapping:
Develop data transformation layers to handle format differences (e.g., JSON, XML) between KOIOS and SAP.
Implement robust mapping to align data structures across platforms.
Error Handling and Logging:
Set up mechanisms for error capturing and logging for audit purposes.
Notifications for failed or incomplete data exchanges.
Deliverables:
Detailed integration design document, including data flow diagrams, API specifications, and field mappings.
Development and deployment of APIs for the integration.
Testing and validation of integration workflows with SAP S/4HANA test environments.
Comprehensive documentation for maintenance and troubleshooting.
Developer Expertise Required:
Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA APIs (OData/SOAP).
Knowledge of field logistics, material master data, and plant maintenance processes.
Proficiency in integration frameworks and middleware (e.g., SAP Cloud Platform Integration or MuleSoft).
Familiarity with KOIOS architecture, especially Angular, Go, and MySQL/Redis stack.
