Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
I'm hoping you can provide me with an estimated cost for the below brief:
docket www.docketfm.co.uk - background for calling
THE JOB
600-700 contacts
I'll give you a spreadsheet of FM and maintenance companies, already cleaned up. Company name, what they do, website, phone number and the director's name. You work down it and ring them
Record the outcome against each one on the sheet as you go: demo booked, wants to proceed, call back, not interested, wrong number, no answer. If they already use a system, note which one. If they say no, note whether it was timing or they're happy where they are. Anything they tell you about how they run their jobs now is worth writing down even when the answer is no.
WHAT WE ARE
docket is a CAFM system, the software an FM or maintenance company runs its jobs on. Reactive jobs and planned maintenance in one place, engineers working off a phone, contractors and clients with their own logins, certificates and compliance paperwork filed automatically as jobs get completed.
It's live and in use. I built it and I run it. Before that I spent seven years running a national facilities helpdesk, so it's built by someone who used these systems rather than someone who sold them.
THE NUMBERS
£35 per person per month, everything included. No tiers, no modules to add on.
Subcontractors and clients get logins free, so they only pay for their own staff.
Five people is £175 a month, ten is £350.
No setup fee, no onboarding fee, nothing to pay to move their data across.
First 60 days free from the day they go live. Walk away inside that and they owe nothing. The 12 month term starts after, and only if they carry on.
WHO WE WANT
Independent FM and maintenance companies, mostly three to ten people. The ones worth your time:
Companies still running jobs off a spreadsheet, a shared inbox and their phone. That's most of the list.
Companies that have just started up or just gone independent.
Companies that have merged and ended up with two systems.
Not worth your time: anyone happy with a CAFM they already pay for, you'll here names consistently in these conversations such as joblogic, maintain x, expansivefm etc.
WHAT COUNTS AS A RESULT
Either a booked call with me, twenty minutes on Teams at a time they pick, or a yes on the call. If they want it, take their name, email and company and I'll send the agreement the same day. You're not signing anyone up or taking payment details.
A FEW THINGS TO AVOID
Don't name any customer or suggest there are lots of them.
Don't call the 60 days a trial, it isn't one.
Don't name SFG20 or any other partner. There's a contract that stops us.
Don't name my day job employer. My background is "a national facilities helpdesk".
If they ask whether it does something and you don't know, say you'll find out. A wrong answer costs us the deal.
Don't ring anything marked CTPS on the sheet.
Anything you're unsure of, just ring me.
