Web developer/programmer

We're looking for an ambitious junior developer to join a start up company.
We are based in London and are looking for a coder who is based in the UK and within fairly close proximity to London or at least has the possibility of spending some time in London in the initial phase of the development.

Currently, we are underway with a substantial site rebuild, and are looking for an energetic and capable Drupal or Django developer. Ideally the candidate will have 2 years commercial experience developing websites from start to finish (front & back-end).

Requirements

- Experience in doing medium to large scale drupal or django site builds

- AJAX

- Experience with Javascript frameworks and unobtrusive techniques

- Experience with PHP Content Mangement Systems

- Knowledgeable with Social Media Applications API's

- Advanced understanding of web standards and best practices including SEO and accessibility

- In depth understanding of cross-browser, front-end development issues

- Experience integrating HTML-based content with other, 3rd party environments

- MySQL

- CSS

- jQuery

- DOM scripting

- JavaScript

- Knowledge in hosting solutions

The candidate should be able to work well both individually and in a team. Have good communication skills, be well organized, possess great attention to detail and able to meet tight deadlines. A structured and disciplined approach is preferable, while creativity is a very important part of the work. We are very much a team based company and everyones ideas and input are encouraged.
