Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
General information for the website: Prestashop website 1.4 -> 1.6 upgrade
Kind of development: Customization of existing website
Description of every page/module: The website is able to be upgraded using 1-click update. I did it and it worked fine for the backend. But the front end wasn't working like in the prestashop 1.6 front end demo. Every aspect of the Prestashop 1.6 front end will need to setup so it looks like the finished professional product. The will include the banners on the front page, etc. See below for list of requirements.
And extra thing we need done is re-organising of the categories. Right now there are too many categories in our website. We want these categories organised under 4-5 main categories as sub-categories.
Note: The winning person if they do a satisfactory job will be hired to do more stuff on our site in the future. We're hoping to find someone who we can use again for prestashop work.
Description of requirements/features: 1) Upgrade to Prestashop 1.6 (using 1-click upgrade module)
2) Make sure front end theme is working as shown in the prestashop 1.6 demo - http://demo.itinnovator.in/prestashop1-6/
3) Make changes to the default theme so it looks like our shops theme and not the demo theme
a) Change the special offer at the top of the page from 70% off to
"10% off entire site till end of April"
b) Change the phone number in the header to be correct
c) Disable the slider
d) Change Banner images - we will provide those image - just tell us what dimensions they are
e) Change the footer information to be correct (will provide you with text to copy and paste into footer module plus hookup to our facebook page
4) In the menu bar at the top (where it says women / dresses / t-shirts / blog) we will have 4-5 main menus which all the rest of the current categories will go under. This will require some re-organising of the categories by you.
5) Check the Modules\themeconfigurator is there and able to be enabled. (should come with the prestashop 1.6 by default, shouldn't be something you have to do yourself)
6) Install Barometer Feedback script (quick and easy to do)
http://getbarometer.com/
Extra notes: I want to complete this without you having access to the live server. I can download the Files and Database and share them via dropbox link or something. We'll have to discuss how we'll make this work.
