My wordpress site is broken and we need help!

I run a small niche international quarterly magazine with annual and quarterly subscriptions. It runs on the wordpress/woocommerce software, but over the last year and a half it has been getting progressively slower and slower and more difficult to use. Our hosting providers have changed servers for us and it has made no difference. We have various plugins which could be part of the issue, but to be honest I am not a wordpress expert and so we are at a loss of how to proceed.

Customers are coming to our site and are not able to purchase because the site keeps stalling and crashing. I got so desperate recently I tried switching to clickfunnels but in fact this isn't working because we have issues with redirecting and obviously our subscriptions which are going to have to stay in wordpress. I also run other projects so I don't have the time or knowledge to root through the problems, so we need an expert urgently.

Also we think the subscriptions plug in with woocommerce isn't working correctly - basically it is a dire frustrating mess.

This is what we would like in the near future:

- a site that runs smoothly and loads quickly both on the front and back end - all on wordpress
- a new modernised website
