Magento Price Discounting

Hi,

I need to modify the display of reduced pricing on my website. I have attached two screenshots.

The first is for a category page. When I apply a discount, it breaks the layout.

The second is a product page: The picture speaks for itself.

I would like the discounted prices to be in line with the rest of my layout.
