Magento configuration - SOAP issue

General information for the website: Help configuring an API
Description of requirements/features: We have a Magento store set up and we are linking it to Khaos Control (an external peiece of software from keystone which manages the products/stock etc). We have the magento connect installation all set up, we are just having trouble connecting the web service to pull the data from.
The web service is set up ready (a link which can be seen over a browser) but we are getting a: SOAP-ERROR: Parsing WSDL:
error.
SOAP is installed, all of the latest patches are installed, everything else is working fine.
We can give you access to the VPS its running on
Needs to be fixed ASAP as its holding up work.
Specific technologies required: Magento, SOAP, PHP
Extra notes: There are numerous threads about this issue on Google but we dont have time to run through them all and take a look. People on the threads are saying its a quick issue around an hours work.
