Magento 2 Integration: Add customer using rest with Python

I need to solve the problem that does not allow me to add a customer using "rest" integration, using python.
All work must be done through my laptop (I.e. using teamviewer, or something similar)

Here are some facts:
1) I have written a python program to do two things:
a) Update a photo on a particular product SKU
b) Add a new customer

I attach the python code (with token replaced with 'xxxxxxx').

Part (a) works fine.
Part (b) fails

Here are the messages shown when I run the python code:
python test.py
Posted Successfully for: Remove photo from product with SKU: 1004
Posted Successfully for: Assign photo to product for SKU: 1004
Error: Post Failed for: Add Customer Name / Status code: 500 / endpoint URL:https://computron.gr/rest/V1/customers

Both parts use the same headers and token. Since the first part works fine, it means that there is no problem with headers and token.

2) I have tried running python using the following endpoints, with same result:
rest/V1/customers
rest/all/V1/customers
rest/wholesale/V1/customers (where 'wholesale' is a store code)
