I need to set up an FTP feed

I have a distributor with a feed for products and it needs to be set up via FTP. I have Wordpress because Shopify and big commerce don't allow for FTP updates.

I also want you to show me how it is done so I can do it myself for other feeds I need.

In your proposal, please tell me your recommended plugins for this.

Also, if this goes well, I will have one other task. I need to be able to set up a login for a specific customer group and I would need to be able to limit product access.

For example, if it is customer A, they would only see products used for watersport, but if it is customer b, they would login and only see products for firefighting, etc.
