Description of every page/module: I'm developing a wedding registry website for a client and need some custom modifications done to the website. I'm using Wordpress 3.1 and the latest Woocommerce together with some plugins. My site URL is http://giftopia.co.za
SCOPE: The scope of the website is to allow wedding couples to register on the website and then create a wedding registry of products (wishlist) that must be viewable by their guests searching for their profile on the website. Guests must also be able to buy these products (add to cart). The shop option should not be available for users, only the registry option. This will be a module that will be incorporate later on when the business has expanded more.
DEVELOPING NEEDS: Example pages: https://www.zola.com
I would like my site (as it is now), to function like this site. 1. User profile (Wedding couple) The profile should that should be viewed by the public should look like as follows: https://www.zola.com/registry/brandyandjohn
a) Profile pic
b) Cover pic
c) Name of registry
d) Link to registry - this must be a concatenated field of the bride and grooms first names - you can preview the registry form on my website when you click on 'Registry' and scroll down to the bottom of the page to register - I've already concatenated those fields in my database under the 'nickname' meta)
e) Event date with a count-down next to it
f) Message box where the couple can write something about themselves
g) A tab with the groups of collections they have selected and tab of all the products they placed in their wishlist
2. The Registry Page - The registry page should look exactly like that of the registry of Zola.com - The settings part should also be included to update information on their user account.
3. On the Home page of the site I would like to add the option as on Zola.com's homepage to view the Favourite registries - something like Registries of the Week If you could please quote me on the above.
