I need help with getting opencart website configured properly

I've recently replaced an old website by replacing files in the root folder. The website is now working but there's a few issues with SSL and the site not displaying correctly for some URLS which I'm guessing is changes need to be made to the config.php file and a few others. I want my site to work well under both http and HTTPS with HTTPS being primary. In addition the green padlock must be visible wherever the user is on the site as per my old website. Desirable skills around html and CSS would be an advantage but not essential for future work, as I'm looking for someone I can trust. Excellent communication skills is essential, that's can speak fluent English. This is down to me being able to discuss matters quickly and easily over Skype.

I also need to set primary domain to include the www. for https:

http://otillie.co.uk/ Should be redirecting to https://otillie.co.uk/

http://www.otillie.co.uk/ is redirecting fine, but http://otillie.co.uk/ is not.

I don't have the ssl installed for every page I don't think: https://otillie.co.uk/by-room/bathroom

Also, if I click on my logo, it’s taking me to http://otillie.co.uk/index.php?route=common/home - again this should just be / - otherwise metrics will get confused.

I don’t seem to have a robots.txt file and need to get that on there and exclude and pages I don’t want indexed – should have a bunch of stuff like this in for the crawlers;
